Imagine a summer of exploring and learning in this historic country with your base in Stirling, the gateway to the Scottish Highlands. Take a trip through time as you stroll the narrow, cobblestone streets of the town of Stirling. Head to Stirling for great academics, fun excursions, and a chance to explore Europe. Our Summer in Scotland program is a unique opportunity to spend four or eight weeks living in an awesome, historic Scottish town and earning 5-12 U.S. credits at the University of Stirling in the process. Choose courses in Scottish culture, history, politics, religious studies, business, and media and film studies. A study-internship option is also available.

Budget Information:
To calculate an estimate of the total cost of your program, use the Cost Estimate Template.xlsx and do the following:
1. Go to the CIS website, https://www.cisabroad.com/ , click on Find Your Program in the upper left hand corner and navigate to your program.
2. Once in the desired program, click “Fees & Dates”.  This is the cost of your tuition and housing.
3. In the gray box on the right, select “additional expenses”. Then, select if your program is a semester, summer, or internship. On the bottom of this spreadsheet, select the “additional expenses” tab to break down the estimated costs of meals, supplies, travel, visa, and personal expenses.
4.  In addition to these fees, add the following costs to arrive at your total cost
 
  • Application fee - $65
  • Study Abroad Administrative fee - $460
  • WSU Laptop fee (semester students only) - $485
  • Passport ($140)
