Why Choose API?

Why Choose API in Santiago
Within the supportive environment of the API programs, API participants are encouraged to explore their host communities and become increasingly independent and confident in their own abilities. We strive to make international educational experiences accessible to as many participants as possible, and, as such, work to provide multiple program components at a low program cost.

“I am beyond grateful for the study abroad experience as it allowed me to dive deep into a culture I had only ever learned about in the classroom. I found meaningful ways to develop my Spanish skills and confidence to speak the language. Lastly, I stepped out of my comfort zone and was open to all the wonders of South America, making memories of a lifetime! Now, I will always feel connected to another place and people.”
