Program Description:

Study Abroad in Rome

Stay on track with your engineering degree while setting yourself apart from the competition. Study in Rome, where you’ll explore more than 2,000 years of global power and influence. You’ll have the opportunity to enroll in a core engineering course alongside elective courses. Elective courses focus on an aspect of Italian culture, which may fulfill a humanities or social science requirement. While Italian language isn’t required, we’ll help you gain some basic communication skills to navigate this historic city.

Where You'll Study

Courses at the CEA CAPA Rome Center are taught in English and allow you to explore and experience all that the Eternal City has to offer. The CEA CAPA Rome Center is in the vibrant Prati neighborhood, within walking distance of Vatican City, Castel Sant’Angelo, and other UNESCO World Heritage sites. This central location makes it easy to visit galleries, museums, art studios, local businesses, historic sites, food markets, and more—all designed to bring lessons taught in the classroom to life. Students will receive a transcript from CEA CAPA’s School of Record upon completion of their program.

Budget Information:
To calculate an estimate of the total cost of your program, use the
Cost Estimate Template and do the following:
1. Go to the CEA website https://www.ceastudyabroad.com/, click on Study Abroad on the upper left and click on search programs.
2. Navigate to your program and it will list the price on the right. This is the cost of your tuition and housing.  If Homestay is chosen for housing, the fee includes breakfast and dinner.
3.  In addition to this program fee, add the following costs to arrive at your total cost
 
  • Meals – apartments do not include any meals.  Homestays do not include lunch.
  • Application fee - $65
  • Study Abroad Administrative fee - $460
  • WSU Laptop fee (semester students only) - $485
  • International Airfare (check studentuniverse.com, expedia.com or other search engines).
  • Passport ($140) and Visa, (if required, cost varies per country)
  • Personal/ miscellaneous expenses for travel, additional meals, souvenirs, etc.
