Program Description:

Study Abroad in Aix-en-Provence

Put your French skills to use and immerse into local culture while gaining the hands-on experience that employers value!  The Internship Only program in Aix-en-Provence allows you focus on developing the practical skills you need to complement your academic studies when you graduate.  Internships are available in fields such art, art history, business, communication, education, journalism, history, museum studies, sustainability, tourism, and more.  This full-time internship program is open to all students, though a high-intermediate and above French language level is encouraged. Where You'll Study

Founded in 1958, IAU College is one of France’s oldest and largest education abroad institutions. Courses in the humanities, social sciences, and fine arts are taught in your choice of French or English; you’ll attend alongside students from around the world. Students will receive a transcript from IAU College upon completion of their program.

Budget Information:
To calculate an estimate of the total cost of your program, use the Cost Estimate Template.xlsx and do the following:
1. Go to the CEA website https://www.ceastudyabroad.com/, click on Study Abroad on the upper left and click on search programs.
2. Navigate to your program and it will list the price on the right. This is the cost of your tuition and housing.  If Homestay is chosen for housing, the fee includes breakfast and dinner.
3.  In addition to this program fee, add the following costs to arrive at your total cost
 
  1. Meals – apartments do not include any meals.  Homestays do not include lunch.
  2. Application fee - $65
  3. Study Abroad Administrative fee - $460
  4. WSU Laptop fee (semester students only) - $485
  5. International Airfare (check studentuniverse.com, expedia.com or other search engines).
  6. Passport ($140) and Visa, (if required, cost varies per country)
  7. Personal/ miscellaneous expenses for travel, additional meals, souvenirs, etc.
