GSWL Ethan Krase Memorial Travel Award
As a professor in the Winona State University TESOL department, Dr. Ethan Krase encouraged his students to pursue life-long learning and intercultural understanding. The department of Global Studies and World Languages honors the memory of Dr. Krase with a $500 travel award supporting GSWL students who participate in a WSU study abroad or faculty-led program, or an intensive summer language program at an American university.
Qualifications:
GSWL major or minor studying abroad on an approved semester, summer or faculty-led program
* Priority will be given to Global Studies major/minors
Also considered:
* Spanish major or minor
* Chinese Studies
* Japanese Studies
* Spanish Teaching major
* Bilingual Bicultural Education
NOTE: Spanish, Spanish Teaching, and BBED students are also encouraged to apply for the Mary O. Graham Travel Award
Deadlines:
· October 1st: Spring programs
· March 1st: Summer, Fall, and Full Year programs
