Semester/Summer Banner
Officially founded as a medical college in 1978, Soonchunhyang University is now recognized as an excellent educational renovation institution of higher education. Undergraduate programs are offered through five colleges: Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Graduate programs are offered through our three graduate schools: The Graduate School, The Graduate School of Education and The Graduate School of Industrial Information.

There are approximately 50 courses conducted in English. Courses include Korean Studies, Asian culture classes, history, politics, economics, and Korean Language. Located in Asan, a city which is rich in culture and tradition, there are many opportunities outside of the classroom to explore the vast treasures that Korea has to offer. Cultural field trips, volunteer education programs, and global leadership programs (students are matched with a Korean student) are just some of the more exciting reasons why many students consider studying abroad at Soonchunhyang University a life-changing experience.

Soonchunhyang is an exchange partner, which means students pay Winona State University tuition and the host university’s room and board. Acceptance under the exchange may depend on the balance of incoming and outgoing students.

Soonchunhyang is located in the city of Asan, South Chungcheong Province, about 52 miles (88 km) southwest of Seoul. The university is readily accessible to and from the metropolitan Seoul area via public transportation. The population of Seoul is 10.29 million.

VISA is required and must be obtained prior to departure. Visa and Immigration Information
