EXPERIENCE THE TRADITIONS
and daily rituals of French life by spending a weekend with a local Parisian family in a homestay.
TAKE A LITERATURE, LANGUAGE,
film, or philosophy class at the Université Paris Diderot – Paris 7, located near the Bibliothèque Nationale or the Cinémathèque Française - known for its interdisciplinary approach to the study of humanities and sciences.
LET THE SEINE’S WATERWAYS,
quays, and bridges transport you to breathtaking sights including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe and the Palace de Versailles.
Participate in two-night, three-day study tours to another region in France or to a neighboring country.

Projects
Volunteering. There are volunteer opportunities at sports clubs, arts organizations, youth centers, churches, schools, and other community organizations.
Students interested in one of the following Academic Projects must submit additional materials as part of their course selection:
Internships. Build new skills and intercultural competencies through the CIEE Internship, and become an active member of the Paris professional environment.
Research. Pursue a research project of your own design incorporating independent, local field-work.
Service-learning. Combine course-based learning with practical, relevant project experience to meet a community-defined need.

Minority Serving Institutions (MIS) Grant - $2,000/semester and $500/summer, guaranteed to all students attending MSIs.

Budget Information:
To calculate an estimate of the total cost of your program, use the Cost Estimate Templateand do the following:
1. Go to the CIEE website https://www.ciee.org/, fill in the blanks to find your program, and search.
2. Select your program to “learn more”. Once you are at the main page of your program, select “See Full Breakdown” next to the price. The “No Hidden Fees” section maps out the price per term. This is this cost of tuition and housing.
3. Click on the plus sign next to the price to view a breakdown along with estimated additional costs including flight, meals, visa, and personal expenses.
4. In addition to this program fee, add the following costs to arrive at your total cost
Application fee - $65
Study Abroad Administrative fee - $460
WSU Laptop fee (semester students only) - $485
Passport ($140) and Visa, (if required, cost varies per country)
