Scholarship Academy Banner
Study Abroad is a high-impact, transformative, and powerful educational experience, but paying for it can be a concern. There are some great scholarships out there to help make it happen, and the application is your chance to show that you are a great investment!

The goal of the Study Abroad Scholarship Academy is to give you the tools and confidence needed to write high-quality, thoughtful scholarship essays. You will be supported and coached by the Scholarship Coordinator throughout your progress in the academy.

The Scholarship Academy is
  • run by the Study Abroad Scholarship Coordinator, Renee Stowell
  • available in our application system and
  • will require you to complete a series of tasks designed to prepare your scholarship application while meeting the Program Outcomes (total estimated time is 13-20 hours)
Completing all requirements of the Scholarship Academy while applying for scholarships will increase your chances of receiving outside scholarships. Spring 2022 Scholarship Academy participants received over $20,000 in outside funding!

The Program Outcomes are bolded below and assignments listed under each of them. The estimated amount of time for each task is also included, but overall, the Academy will take at least 13 hours of work to complete.
